Hello! My name is Madeline and I'm an American living in The Netherlands. I recently started this blog (and hopefully soon a webshop) because obviously I love books. Reading has been my escape since childhood and that passion has grown into blogging and selling books! I read quite a lot of books, mostly historical, contemporary, thriller/mystery, and non-fiction covering history, politics, society, and the occasional self-help book.

Living in a European country where English isn't the first language, it can be difficult finding English books at an affordable price. That's a big reason why I started Chapter by Chapter! I wanted to offer affordable, secondhand English books to others like me who love to read but can't always find what they're looking for. Through Chapter by Chapter, you can read reviews and purchase pre-loved English books via my Vinted shop until I can get the webshop up and running.
