A Discovery of Witches

The book was slow to start and overly descriptive at times (for my personal taste). I didn’t feel intrigued by the story until about page 120 when it started to pick up on pace. The plot was interesting and I love anything with Witches, vampires, and daemons-oh my! The romance could get a little steamy at times so fair warning (or encouragement) for anyone looking to read this one.

Not usually a fantasy fan, I can be quite picky about this genre as I try to get out of my reading comfort zone but enjoyed this one quite a bit and was racing to the end. I also loved some of the topics covered throughout the main plot and for me searching for books on those sub topics!
