A Woman is No Man

The stories of Isra and Deya are heartbreaking and complicated. I really enjoyed the chapters switching between the two characters and decades, as well as occasionally reading from Fareeda’s perspective as well. All of the characters were unique and complicated as we saw their decisions and their histories. I also loved Rum’s writing style and her way of describing daily life and emotions. Honestly, I don’t have many words to describe this book other than what an amazing story it was and it’s a book that will stay with me for a long time!
