Daisy Jones and the Six

In honor of the Amazon series launching Friday, I wanted to share my review of Daisy Jones & the Six! I was pulled into the story right away and really liked how unreliable the characters' POVs were, as each person can remember something differently. The characters were complex and you can see their development throughout the book. I went back and forth between loving and hating the characters-showing their problems as not just black and white.

I’ve never read a book with this format before as it’s told through a series of interviews so I was a bit nervous. Now I think it’ll be a format that I come back to in my future reads! The female characters are strong and empowering, making this a highly recommended feminist read! Also, who can resist a story set in the classic 70s rock scene. I annotated the heck out of this book with all the fantastic quotes and I think this will be a favorite!
