Dear Emmie Blue

This book was slow to start but after about 70 pages I got more into it! I really liked the characters and Emmie’s character development. It was a romance but the side plots in Emmie’s life were just as interesting and important to her character. Eliot is my latest book boyfriend; I was giddy at how sweet he was and certain flashbacks with him that made me swoon!

The miscommunication (or rather lack of communicating) drove me crazy sometimes; it’s my least favorite romance trope conflict. But it made sense in a way for the storyline so it wasn’t as annoying as some other books. Some plot points were easy to guess but others surprised me! There was one plot point that I saw coming from the start and absolutely hated that I was right.
