I Feel Bad About My Neck

I love Ephron’s rom com movies which prompted me to check out this short book of essays! I enjoyed a few of them and found some essays to be quite funny and insightful.

I will add the warning that the essays aren’t for everyone. The “issues” highlighted by Ephron show a level of rich, white privilege but it is a bit like a memoir, so it’s about her problems which are not always relatable. Not the type of feminist centered concerns I expected to read about but still interesting at times. It was nice to have a lighter, more fun approach to the ideas of womanhood compared to the serious, often dark tragedies that come with being a woman.
