People We Meet on Vacation

This book had me smiling and laughing out loud! I loved the banter between Alex and Poppy, and the flashbacks to their previous vacations. I could see a lot of myself in both characters which was nice.

I fell in love within the first 5 pages and have marked sooo many lines. I loved that Henry has so many references of how awful Ohio is through Poppy’s character; as a fellow Michigander and midwesterner, we all talk crap about Ohio!

I didn’t know until recently that Henry and I share an Alma Mater, Hope College! She was a senior when I was a freshman which is so cool to think about and love the book that much more!

I loved every second of this book, honestly I can’t think of anything I didn’t like or felt was missing. I’m curious though to see what’s different in the UK version, You and Me on Vacation, and which version I would like best.
