Sacred Hearts

The book was very slow and there were lots of descriptions of weather and gardens, which made it hard to stay focused on the story. I did like that the chapters are different POVs of the same scenes and the plot was unique! I’ve never read a book about convent life before so I liked learning about what it might’ve been like in the 16th century.

The last third of the book was the most interesting but I did start skimming over the super descriptive scenes that seemed unnecessary.
