Six of Crows Duology

After all the hype I’ve seen about this book duology , I finally read it!  There isn’t much I can say that hasn’t already been said. I did have a hard time getting into Six of Crows at first, but the story picked up around 120 pages. I can see why so many people love the book and characters! I absolutely loved the bantering dialogue.

I liked Crooked Kingdom much better than Six of Crows! Maybe because I was attached to the characters at this point? The banter and character relationships were amazing as usual. I annotated so many pages and I don’t usually annotate my books!

The plot twists were mind blowing and Kaz is brilliant! Although I’m going to pretend that chapter 40 doesn’t exist (WHY LEIGH WHY)?!

Crooked Kingdom was a really nice end to the duology! It’s definitely piqued my interest in the Grishaverse and I may have to read the Shadow and Bone trilogy now.
