Station Eleven

The book felt eerie to read especially after the last couple years we’ve had. The characters and writing were amazing and I was drawn in right away. One of the twists/connections between characters I had predicted about halfway through, but there were plenty of surprises along the way!

Honestly I now understand why so many people rave about Station Eleven!! I can’t believe I waited so long to pick this one up. I’ll definitely be reading more by St John Mandel and this will be one of my favorites for January!

The photo was taken at the vineyard we stayed at near Faro, Portugal! It had a gorgeous infinity pool overlooking the vines so despite the cold, I knew I had to try it (no books were harmed in the making, thank goodness!)
