The Spanish Love Deception

The writing held my attention from the start and I fell in love with the characters. I’ve never annotated a book so much that wasn’t nonfiction or for a book club! This book has been all over bookstagram so I was a little nervous it would be overhyped but its worth all the attention its gotten.

The characters, the writing, the slow burn enemies to lovers/fake dating trope, it’s all just *chefs kiss*

I was also very happy that when there was conflict, Armas didn’t have the miscommunication trope and the characters talked things out (as they should). Sorry Drew Nichols, but Aaron Blackford is my new book boyfriend!
