Wolf Hall
The book was slow and sometimes a bit confusing with so many characters to keep track of, and the more mundane descriptions at times. I did however learn some new things about the Tudor court and Cromwell! I was happy that I recognized some of the events and characters mentioned since I read Philippa Gregory’s Plantagenet and Tudor series last year.
Mantels writing is beautiful but the book just dragged at times making it harder to pay attention for more than 20 pages at a time, which is why I switched to audio for the last third of the novel.
